NOVIQ Privacy Policy

What the Software does
- The desktop application makes no network requests during normal use. It does not collect analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or usage data, and it does not check in with us or anyone else.
- Your library, setlists, and songs are stored only on your own machine, in a folder you control. We never see them.
- License verification happens entirely on your device — checking a license key does not contact any server.
What we (the publisher) collect
Only what's needed to sell and support the Software:
- Purchases. Handled by our payment processor, Paddle, who is the merchant of record. Paddle collects the billing information needed to process your payment (see Paddle's privacy policy). We receive your email address and order details in order to issue your license key and provide support.
- Support requests. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to help you and to prevent abuse (e.g. repeated machine-activation reset requests).
We do not sell or share this information with third parties beyond what's needed to process payment (Paddle) and, if ever required, to comply with the law.
Microsoft Store purchases
If you buy NOVIQ through the Microsoft Store, your purchase and license entitlement are handled by Microsoft under Microsoft's privacy policy, not by us directly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected in release notes.
